Ponting didn't do too badly as captain. The over-rate issue probably played too much of a role but I doubt that we would have won anyway. Naturally the pity is we didn't use the strike bowlers for a more overs. The Indian pitches are designed low and slow, definitely suiting batting first. Our blokes will now enjoy playing on proper pitches for a change.
