Australia v Pakistan Match Thread

As I get over the fact that England are useless we turn put attention to the next game. An intriguing encounter involving, in my book, the potential finalists.

Australia have lost both the openers for just 32 on the board. Australia are still the favorites in my opinion.

A tight over from Bracken there, pressure back on Pakistan. About half way both in terms of runs needed and overs gone.

A few overs of Afridi wouldn't go amiss here!

Another big upset.The new guy Haq came good today inspite of their initial collapse.I felt the Pakistan bowlers did well during the final overs to restrict Australia to below 170.Seems like two semifinalists are now confirmed-Newzealand and Pakistan.My take is that Australia will be the third semifinalist.I don't see them losing to Srilanka.

Hmm, It will be interesting to see if Ponting can pull up from that hamstring injury. We will see how Gilly goes in the next match :embarrassed:.
