auto blogging

When I make a new thread, it defaults to adding it to my blog. I would prefer not to have new blog entries on starting threads, by default. I keep forgeting to scroll down and see the button.

Hi,

Can you help us understand why you don't like the autoblogging? Also, have you used the 'Manage your blog posts' in your blog control panel successfully?

We're still working through the kinks in the blog software so please bare with us. One of our goals was to make it so that our users have a blog without having to consciously post to it, hence the autoblogging. Perhaps if we made autoblogging optional...

I'd say that in your personal options, you should set whether you wish to autoblog, similar to the setting where you set your preference for email notification of a reply to a subscribed thread.

I don't want to blog on football topics, but most of the threads that I start are football.

OK, I've got this figured out a bit. I know now that I can fix my mistakes pretty easily.
