SimplyCricket's Battrick League - Recruiting

Hello and welcome to the first ever season of SimplyCricket... oops we have no teams yet! Right to enter your team into the season, all you have to do is fill out the form and then you can sit back and relax and watch the members just keep on joining and eventually we will have enough members playing to start the season. Tell you what, if Left Hander tells us when the PC one finishes, we'll hold off and do it in thier off-season :p

Left Hander if you could PM the rough time of it finishing, id be happy :p

Battrick - BigCricket League?

Does anyone play Battrick on here?

If so, would people be interested in having a BigCricket battrick league(s)?

The idea would be to arrange games in the Sunday friendly slot. Rules would be decided before the season but it would pretty much run like the current one day leagues on there.

If you're interested post below and we'll see if we can get something going.

(For those that don't know Battrick is a free online cricket management game.

You manage a team of cricketers against other human managers from all over the world. You can log in at any time of the day, or night, to check on your club, expand the ground, buy and sell players, set match orders for upcoming matches and much, much more. Each team is involved in a limited over (50 overs) league, a First Class (3 day) league and there is a limited overs cup tournament to compete for, too.)

If we can get 6/8 teams then I'll organise something, including a prize (3 months membership I expect).

Seems we have something starting to form.

If any newcomes to Battrick are worried about not being able to compete then I'm sure we can work out a handicap system to help level the playing field. Will probably be in terms of a maximum wage/BT rating cap.
