Best Tailenders in the APS

Re: Best Tailenders in the APS

An early contender would have to be Leigh (The German)Heinrichs from HC after his majestic 58 vs GGS. This is from a bloke that that hasn't had a bat all year and is the designate bowler in the one dayers

Re: Best Tailenders in the APS

scotch has a very deep tail!! with 6. gelling, 7. macmillan, 8. mcconnachie and 9. melville all being specialist batsmen and gross can get 20 every game, with parisi having a good eye to stick around for a long time!! very solid batting line up...and has been used numerous times during the season..

Re: Best Tailenders in the APS

Rogerson from geelong college, solid in a crisis, played a very good innings along with lugg to get college across the line against melbourne grammar.

rogerson is a muppet but at that is alot better then lugg

lugg is shii!house and should be playing aps 3's. marks dispatched him. but liam macarthy from briton is a a handy lower order player

Re: Best Tailenders in the APS

Marks may have hit lugg for four 6's but if memory serves me correctly he threw away his wicket for only 34 then went for 29 in an over himself.

Re: Best Tailenders in the APS

lets face it, noone can live up to heinrichs. i mean, who else could go in to bat at no. 9 and make 58?

but id say that HC have the worst tail. coz they dont freaking have one!

Re: Best Tailenders in the APS

Cosgrave from Xavier is a very clean striker of the ball. A dangerous player. Top performance was against wesley when he made a quickfire 40 not out. Batted well on the weekend and rumour is he is moving up the order this week.
