There's also been a few rules changes for the 2014/15 BBL as well.
- Salary cap has been increased from $1.05 million to $1.2 million (Australian dollars).
- Two trade periods to take place of one week duration, one starting tomorrow and one in November. A minimum of one player must be traded although a player does not necessarily have to be traded in return.
- Teams will be able to sign a replacement player should any player be called up to international duty during the season. This will encourage franchises to retain or sign players who are regulars on the international stage in their squads
- Signings can begin on 19 May (tomorrow) with a minimum of 10 players to be signed by 11 July. Teams must be finalised by 5 December.
