Hi, I just pulled out my old cricket bat out of storage and i want to use it again as i paid alot of money for it. I have sanded the bat back and oiled it. i havent used the bat in about 8 months should i still knock it in?

Should be ok to use. Did you knock it in when you first got it?

Yes i did its just been a while since ive used it so i was just wonderind whether it would pay to knock it in again?

Should be fine but you could just knock the edges in for 20 mins, as they tend to bear the worst of it.

Good stuff - don't forget to put a little bit of oil on every now and again to stop it drying out.
