Grubich agreed, the Day bros, Keogh, John Howell

I disagree with Male and Sturgess they are both great lads who doesn't mind to put their drinking shoes on.

Grubich loves bouncing 16 year olds.

Matt Keyhoe is a decent bloke in my opinion Ugly Sister. Just has some white line fever.

There is only 1 player I would have a beer with from Deepdene and that is "Princess" (Strempl)

Ugly Sister drinking with blokes called "Princess" Interesting, but I'm not surprised.

I have seen it all before and the good teams will crush him mentally and if he doesn't perform, a lot of people down at North Balwyn will be questioning him. Lets see if he has the ticker if it goes wrong for him. Especially playing for a struggling club like North Balwyn. You saw Cope struggle last year at donvale, only 250 runs. He came here with a lot of expectation and failed under pressure (by his stats in the winter you need to cross your fingers and hope cope get pasts 10, only passed 10 3 times in the winter). But only time will tell if he has it in him and the same as Cope, if they can rise to the occasion and help North Balwyn survive dunstan. Don't hold your breath boys.

Stay tuned

Fuzzy, it's almost like you actually want North Balwyn to fail!

Worst blokes - Grubich - always grumpy, actually all of Glen Iris, J and D Day, Sturgess and their keeper (who bats at 11 and can't keep), Male - arrogant turd who is overrated, Saker, Keogh from North Balwyn - the one with missing digits...

Could develop quite a long list in no time!

Tooronga are pretty average lads. Couldn't work out how to use their covers correctly. Had some good arguments between themselves on the field aswell.

Eddy Secker is an average lad and an average umpire.

There was a story a few years ago at the ECA presentation night while pissed told one of the players that he deliberately fires people who he doesn't like.

Also for giving Julian Cohen out handled the ball when the ball was stuck in his pad. Technically the ball is dead. Bad times

He's the best umpire though. He says so!

Twenty20 last year. Gave a no ball and free hit for having 6 outside the circle in the last over.
Checked rules after, 4 outside in first 10, 6 outside in last 10. Also, Free Hit only for foot fault no balls.

Anyone here going to take up umpiring once their glittering careers are over?

That is village that call and I hate the fielding restrictions. Twenty20 is all about entertainment and your not going to get that with 6 out for the last 10.

Slattery and Male are the best umps going around.

I'd be keen to give it a crack. Not sure I'm anal enough to be an ECA umpire though!

You are very right. Think 2 out first 6, and then 5 out is best.

What are the fielding restrictions going to be for limited over ECA games this year?

I would doubt the rules committee would even bother with fielding restrictions in 1 day games, just going to stick to the routine.

I was past my best a few years ago. I think I will wear a wheelchair disabled sticker on my helmet this season. I think Stewart Cope should wear one aswell so people can give him a chance to earn his pay cheque.

Torriero from Hawthorn was an A grade douche when we played them. Who wears transition lenses when they bat? Just looked like a player who was working hard to prove to the committee that he needed a disabled sticker. Mind you some of his calls on Satyen Desai were enjoyable.

Is Ferndale the best synthetic ground?

It's not bad - the pitch is old though and the straight boundaries are pretty short. Ramsden St & Hays Paddock are good, not that I see them, let alone play on them too often. :p

Is this some simmering Mulgrave tension? Could the feud between the sisters and the Day's have been the reason they left the club?

Also, disagree, D Sturgess is a great bloke.

North Balwyn's synthetic ground is the best, couldnt help but wish we played on it looking across from the turf ground. Looks like a carpet.
