nahh mate ur spot on.. we dont pay blokes at the club so therefore no-one needs to be arrogant... and i cant name any that are arrogant but in a way i still see where he was cumming from... i thort at the start of the year he was in line to keep in the 1s... he did all the pre season and stuff.. yet still found himself in thes 2s and was only brought up wen danny was unavailable

there has been 8 games this year. in the first 6 rounds he played 2 in the ones, 2 in the 2s and was unavailable for two. the last game he played in the ones he had the chance to win the game off his own bat but went out. hasnt played since. would have played last week but didnt want to. if he wants to play good cricket, he should stop thinking the worlds against him and go out and do it. hes a great bloke wen hes not sayen stupid things like he was sat night

and u didnt tell me bout jase...

RD10 St Albans/Breakwater v Wallington Day 1

Wallington won the toss and after a delay while Cammo walked off the ground to his side so they could have a show of hands on what they should do, they decided to bat (I must say I've never seen that before and it came across as a huge lack of confidence).
Wallington sore off the first few overs without loss, and once again Muzz was quite sharp, he actually hit Boofa Biemens in the head and it went one bounce for 4, we were all in shock to see Boof still standing considering he didn't have a lid on. He didn't last too much longer when Jonesy picked him up caught behind and that started a string of early wickets with Jonesy taking the first 4 to have Wallington at 4-33. They started a slow rebuild but with the run rate at less than 2 an over after 43 overs they went to tea at 6-80.
After tea the pain continued as they ended up being bowled out for 121 in 63 overs. James Connoley scored a slow but handy 37 in a solo effort for the Wallabies, Chris Jones was the pick of the bowlers for the saints getting 6-29 from 19 overs.

StABCC had to bat for 9 overs and got through without loss to be 0-34 with Sean O'Leary 18* and Rory Fitzgerald 9*.

Wallington will be looking for early wickets next week on the lightening fast Breakwater Reserve.

I forgot to mention that I picked up the prize wicket of crktluva;)

Not much to say about him mate.. we all seen how souped up he was.. anyways just as you blokes were ditching me to get in the cab.. he was angry at dodge and he mentioned that the great man (alf) hadnt helped the situation.... and after i discovered u blokes had taken off in the cab without me.. i seen him out the front walking off with his bag in hand...... swearing and cursing about arrogantness

butt yesti no-one really knew why he was so angry.. possibly didnt take too kindly to roger and alfs words of wisdom... and as for him running into a newtown bowler... ants can u clear that up.. cos we didnt hear anythig about that

Last time i seen him bowl was a few weeks ago playin for the Barwon under 18's. They were playin the under 16's in a scratch match. Every time the 18's got a wicket he was given the younger kids a send off. Mind you he wasn't the only one in that under 18 side doing it. Bunch of big head tossers if you ask me. But your right he was enjoying it. Good on him for gettin up the 15 year olds.

your not wrong, most of that side are a little confident in there own ability, and seem to be sorted out when it comes to a quality opponent...

lol i was at square leg, and i was concentrating on the keepers end, but i did happen to see wat happened at the other end surprisingly. i spose my mind was wandering. :p but anyway nipper was just standen there after his follow threw and jase went straight at him, then started on the ump sayen the bowler ran into him. so that started it. then him and dev royce were haven words, them clarkey and stanley were into him and he was into them. i thought there was a chance for a blue lol. then like i sed in the other thread about after the game wen we was getten the shield. funny but loose and off the rails

in camos own words, one of the best opening spells he has faced in ages, everything was right on. St Albans definitely produced the goods on the day. once again we batted to survive overs rather than build a score. too much pressure on lower order. i was set for a ton too, but unfortunately holed out at deepish mid on off a vicious 90 degree turning offy that bounced off yorker length at my throat and fell about 95 short.

Wasn't getting a go with the bat. batting at 9 and 10 and the travel to the some of the outer melbourne clubs was wearing thin. Final straw was last game when he was brought on to bowl in a one day in the 4th last over and didn't bat.
Will make the Seagulls very tough to beat from here on.

Hey guys I'm new to this, but have been reading a bit. On the topic of Bawon Heads has anyone noticed all of the old blokes having a hit in their C grade, some real handy cricketers in their day.

Re: GCA & BPCA match previews and reviews

Basically old school mates having a hit together. Most are late 30s and can't be arsed playing higher anymore and are enjoying a hit and laugh on Saturday.

Re: GCA & BPCA match previews and reviews

NORTH GEELONG vs EAST BELMONT
Selected Sides
North Geelong- A.Spierings, S.Hall, C.Millard, A.Armistead, A.Clark, S.Lymer, J.Stewart, S.Jacimovic, D.McGlinchey, B.Scown, S.Kingwell
East Belmont- P.Quick, A.Baars, G.Ward, H.McDonald, D.Allen, B.Nguyen, M.Hanley, S.Scannell, B.Spencer, L.Allen, S.Bogan

Preview- Both sides coming off good wins last week, in what should be an interesting encounter. North will be much younger than East, as East have a lot more experience in both the batting and bowling departments. North's bowlers peformed admirably last week restricting Newtown to 149 off 50 overs, whilst East's batsmen chased down 158 losing only 2 wickets. It will be a war between Scown and Baars to decide who will win this match up.

Player To Watch
Becker Nguyen(East Belmont)- Becker is having a year to remember, being selected in the Country Week squad, and becoming a key member of the East line up. Will be interesting to see how he performs after not being required to at or bowl last week.

Alf Clark (North Geelong)- The great man made a duck in his return match last week after a trip in Bali. I have never seen him fail twice in a row and on several occasions he has failed and then come out and made a centruy the next week.

TIP- North to win with Scown winning the battle with Baars:p
