Are you asking a question or making a statement?
Some have made ridiculous suggestions that there is nothing in it for Sri Lanka to play as they already have a foot into Super 8. Some even made more preposterous claims that the match could be fixed, to keep Indian sponsors, Indian TV media giants and huge Indian audience happy, get better TV ratings for World Cup in general - by forcing Sri Lanka to throw away the match.
That is absolute crap. Sri Lanka have everything to play for. If they earn any points, they would get to carry them forward into Super 8. There is no reason for Sri Lanka to be complacent and/or field a weaker team.

Don't think Lankans know on which side their bread's buttered? They
win, financially they (and ICC, and WC, and Windies, and sponsors, and
local businesses, etc, etc) lose big. My prediction: Lankans lose in
half-hearted effort. Just exposes another glaring flaw in this idiotic
group round format.

Sri Lanka 78-2 after 20 overs.
India were thrilled with the 2 wickets they took, but Sri Lanka haven't lost any more and should be on their way to a fairly respectable total.
