head position??

when i was reading a few of the previously postest topics... i saw alot of the blokes talkin about head position when bowling...

can someone explain basically wat the right head position is....

Head position is the critical thing in bowling. Get that right and everything else will follow.

The head moves forward towards the target in a straight line.

Movements are lead by the head so if you keep your head straight and eyes level your body will follow. Imagine your head moving down a corridor towards the target.

ok ok i get it now...

ill keep an eye on that... something i have never noticed... might help me get more wickets :)

It will. Don't forget that it is natural for your head to fall a little bit to allow the arm to come over, but after that, it should go in a straight line.

it does help
i coodnt bowl straight then my coach told me about head positioning and suddenly bowling exactly on stumps came straight to me
