High density foam batting pads

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy some new batting pads (as it's the end of season here and there are some bargains around!)

I like these high density foam pads, but was wondering if they last as long as traditional pads? I'm happy to pay a bit more for them because they're lighter and supposed to be more comfortable, but I don't have enough money to buy a new pair every season!

Any advice would be appreciated.

May not last as long as the traditional pads but you should get a few years out of them. Of course, it all depends on how many games you play and if you take to diving around when using them but generally they are not that much different from traditional ones.

Years ago they tended to be a bit delicate but nowadays they are (well, the ones I've seen are) covered in the same material as any other pad.
