India batting with fire, plenty of edges, nicks, difficult dropped catch going to hand, Lee and McGrath going well.

In the Bundy Rum stakes, first one is going down nicely tyvm!:D

Alright! McGrath gets Tendulkar, caught behind... this is back to the Glenn McGrath we all know and love. Great news with the Ashes in sight- Warne took five for 100 today as well, so the omens are good all round.

400 ODI dismissals for Gilly as well... woot! :D

India 5/215 in the 46th.Can't see them getting a lot more than 240 odd.Sehwag batted well, as did Dravid although he got out at the wrong time.McGrath as miserly as always and Lee has been expensive, but also got two vital breakthroughs.

India 8/249 at the conclusion of their innings.Should be ok for the Aussies but the top order are going to have to do their job and not leave it to a Martyn, Symonds or Clarke.About time Ponting got a score too.

1 for 101 after 14 overs. Everything proceeding nicely, runner and all.

8th Bundy down, considering calling for a second pizza... there's a lot of hard thinking involved in being a couch slob fanatic, oh yes there is!

I thought 250 might be too much for us, given the amount of movement that the new ball was getting, but the most movement has been from the bat hitting the ball to the fence.

So lets see how we go. If we can hold out without losing wickets in clumps, we should win this now.

Pretty poor display by India. The match was lost when Kaif and Dravid were batting at a slow rate. India could have gambled by sending in Pathan instead of Kaif, as Sehwag's batting had given them a reasonably safe platform. Munaf Patel's awful bowling performance didn't help either.

This match shows the huge gulf that exists between a no. 1 team like Australia and India. While there is good amount of talent on the Indian team, the aggregate teamwork just doesn't add up to Australia's level.

Any Australian spectator will be happy with us chasing down 250, especially some of the scores that have been made in the trophy. Martyn again showing that when he has failed for a while he makes a few good scores to keep his place secure for a little while longer. I hope that he will be able to hit some much needed runs in the ashes series.
