Should Lord's Cricket ground follow the example of Centre court at Wimbledon tennis championship and get a retracble roof over 100% of it.

i say yes becuase I am fed up with rain delays stopping cricket mtaches (especially the Australia v Scotland match in Edinburgh in 2005).

In this day and age it is a farce that rain stops/can stop play at lLord's Cricket Ground.

why not! not sure why Wimbeldon Tennis does not have one!!!!

What effect would it have on the game though? Would you play under the roof all the time all only when the weather was bad?

i'd love to play all year round! the season is never long enough for me! although i'm sure the Girlfriend would not agree!

i think for important games / internationals it would be of more benefit to finish a game! or test matches that might get a result!

Leave the roof open and only use it if it could save a match!
