ITV bags IPL rights in UK

Interesting move and one that shows the advantages of digital TV. ITV have now got the rights to IPL 3 and will be showing games live on ITV 4 as well as other highlights.

A very shrewd move by the IPL as they are moving away from Skys dominance, I wonder if this is a once off or long term deal with ITV.

From what I've seen it looks like a one off but who knows. Could easily stretch to a couple of seasons.

can only be a good move really, at least its not more money going to mr murdoch.
