Leg spinners. How do you start off a spell?

Hey guys im just curious as to how you would start off a spell.

Do you just bowl leg breaks for a few overs or do you put in a variation right away?

Do you put maxiumum revs on the ball right away or just slowly upthe revs?

Where do you aim to put the fist ball ( assuming its a right hander )

Thanks.

Drifting to outside leg, then turning sharply and taking the top of off - like all good leggies start a spell/series.

I'm a batsman, but when facing leggies I'm most comfortable (as everyone is against all bowlers) getting a few sighters early, so the aim should be to make the batsman play - i reckon pitching middle and off is about right, and then giving at least one ball a big rip in your first over (if you can turn it a bit). Obviously, you run the risk of being smacked to the boundary if you're too short or full, but you're also a chance of taking a wicket/ scaring the bejesus out of a batsman by turning one from middle or leg and past the outside edge.

Very poorly. I usually always start off with a wide or a rank short ball/full toss. I think it's due to the fact that I haven't warmed up well enough or bowled enough practice balls before I start my spell.
