Former captain Butt banned for 10 years, five of which are suspended, Asif for seven and Amir for five, an ICC anti-corruption tribunal rules.

Seems Asif got hit the worse as he has 7 years whereas the other two get 5 years (in real terms).

Good, that will sort out those who wants to throw games, or at least parts of them.

Asif should have been rubbed out years ago. The guy is a compulsive cheater, good riddance.

It would seem a little harsh for the young Aamer that 5 years ends his possible carrer in cricket. Yes the punishment must be had but the issues involved with Pakistan cricket are much bigger and the ICC could do with trying to do something about this instead of being the toothless tiger they are. I see the PCB have requested a review for Aamer and the tribunal has requested a review of penalties so it would seem i am not the only one that feels this young man needs a chance.
