Match Thread: England vs. India, The Oval, 6th ODI

India will, once again, try to avoid a series defeat here. Unfortunately for England, Bopara's been ruled out and Flintoff's chances of playing look doubtful. Luke Wright has been called to the side as a cover. I recall him playing a pretty decent innings in one of the tour matches. It'll be interesting to see how he fares here, if he is selected.

Nope, the match starts at 10:15 (local time). The final match begins at the same time as well.

I would like to see Luke play although his chances of him actually playing are slim I think.

Looks like Luke Wright will be playing. It will be a big test for him.

Ian Bell has been really lucky in this series. That must of happened at least 3 times <s><img><s>.

79-2 at the moment, England are recovering well.

But Wright and Shah have taken the score onto 215-5 with 9 left. Wright is amazing, love his technique,

I think that is the best re-building of an innings I have seen. We were in deep trouble with K.P out, but Shah and Wright kept themselves in, scored very quickly, and Dimi finished it off at the end.

Tendulkar starting things off the right way for India and as I write that, he's hit two consecutive boundaries off Mascarenhas. That man is brilliance personified.

It was one helluva recovery effort from Shah and Wright. Dimmi finished it off with his usual cavalier style. But, the man of the moment is Tendulkar, who's constantly showing glimpses of his younger self here, which can only mean bad things for England. It seems that Ganguly doesn't want to be left out either. He's getting into the action.
