Bundoora United to win the flag this year. No doubt about it.
Plenty and Heidelberg might have something to say about that
That social media policy is doing wonders already.
M. Minney and G. Turner in the same batting line up, not bad...
Something both blokes have wanted for a number of years, but couldn't get to work. Would be great watching them bat together.
Forget about their batting, Eltham will bowl their 80 overs before 4:30pm every week with these two. Win for everyone....
52 overs before tea is our record at BU.
Don't you mean 52 party pies at tea? I heard you do love a chew big fella.
Whoever you're hearing that off is telling you BS.
@PremiersAgain When can we expect Kenroy Peters to be strapping them on?
I heard he was arriving for round 2
- Barring a meltdown Eltham should chase down that total relatively comfortably. Is Henkel injured? Didn't bowl, Eltham
- Heidelberg/Research similar run chase, too many to chase for those 2 teams for mine, Plenty/Mill Park
- If Amos was playing I'd say Lalor are always a sniff but not in this case, Mernda.
- Banyule will need 2 blokes to ton up if they are any chance... Surely can't happen in the same game... BU
All fairly good summaries.
Lower Plenty blew it at 4/115 to be all out for 144. Will be tough to ultimately defend 98 with a line up that has Minney, Turner, Chrimes.
Banyule are no chance whatsoever.
Heidelberg will find it tough, Whitch will need 80+ if they're to chase them down.
Research will rely on two blokes to get the runs, one of them needs a ton. Don't think it'll happen.
Mernda will get the job done, but not without a scare. They'll get them 8 down.
Arrives in Melbourne next week
Henkel Injured his ankle in NFL GF against Bundoora. Should be right this week to bowl.
It's Plenty vs Bundoora United in the Australia Day game as well. A chance for people to see him in action maybe..assuming we bat first.
I'd rather have a lamb chop.
Who wins?? For me its
Agree with all except Mernda/Banyule.
Hannan O'Connor and Murray still to bat, Banyule.
