Northern Metropolitan Cricket Association (Jika)

Re: Northern Metropolitan Cricket Association (Jika)

As per this weeks edition of the Banyule Leader:

Leader Community ePaper

An exciting opportunity for talented and better performed juniors and seniors to test themselves against the wider cricket community.

And the next step is most likely to be inclusion in Premier Cricket !

Re: Northern Metropolitan Cricket Association (Jika)

what is the cut off date for juniors this season? i heard that if you are the exact age or younger at the start of august or september you can play that age group?

Re: Northern Metropolitan Cricket Association (Jika)

All very quite around the traps.

Time to spill the beans people, who has gained and who has lost players?

Who will improve and who will go backwards?

Thoughts?

Suggest that the boys from Kelynack Reserve might be a little higher up on the ladder than has been predicted as a result of some astute recruiting recently. More to come .....

Out Higgs, In Jesensek, but only playing around 10 of 14 games though. That is the word. I think that the top 5 ladder positions will only have a 2 game spread, with percentage to play a big part.

that news about AJ is correct, yet do you think he is a bit past his time and do you think the games that he plays is really gonna help them in the end?

Going by the year he had last season, it may seem that way. Only time will tell. If he has a decent year though, then of course it will help them. I would have him in my side anytime, as he may just provide a boost to the people around him.

In the end, I'm sure he will score heavily in some games and get out cheap in others.

have a look at last yrs stats i dnt think higgs made a big influence on the team. they look like they hav a good bunch of 1st grade players and anyone of them on there day can make runs. look at the grand final J.Bonicci didnt make a run all yr and then makes 60 odd. yes i think AJ will b good for them this yr you wud think he will hav a big yr this yr due to not having the pressure to consistantly make all the runs. i think rivergum will b happy with 400 runs out of him
