I think you will find the 4 A grade grounds maybe get 1 or two games started .... Jack quick was the same grounds were under water ..... I think you might find that the games were off on Friday night .... Not saturday morning as you suggest

A big two days coming up for the northern suburbs cricketers with a double-header this weekend to complete the raft of what has been one-dayers before some of the serious cricket starts. All being well, with full results over the two days the ladders will start to take some shape. Looking forward to seeing how Rivergum goes against Cobras and the big one between Keon park and Lalor Warriors.

After yesterday's exciting matches, yes there were some for the doubters (!), it's onward and upward with another round of one-day 'hit and giggle' matches to give everyone their money's worth. The highlight match in the Jika Shield, only for the reason that both teams are yet to win is between Lalor Warriors and Holy Trinity, while the Northern Socials versus Keon Park will determine, at this stage of the season, an early premiership favourite. In the Quick Shield the match of interest is between Darebin Chargers and Olympic Colts CC, while in the Kelly Shield Preston Footballers and Strathewen is the standout match.
