Off Season Care

Hi,
Due to "Off Season";my kit and Bat's will be kept away till the mid of October.
Till that time what are the precautions for my bat's.
Should they be oiled?
I have three Bat's;Details following alongwith the photos:
1) BAS Vampire Legend-New one; Oiled and knocked for 6hrs and not yet used in the nets or for catching practice.
2) KG Megadrive: Used in Nets & Matches with Leather coating applied.
3) SS Impact: Used in Nets only & leather coating applied.
Please suggest?

Ideally, you should do the following with your bats:

lightly sand to remove very fine top layer of the Blades surface. Apply a couple of thin coats of Raw linseed oil about 24 hours apart. Leave bat laying flat to dry. Place bat in carrier or bin liner and store in a cool dry place. (cupboard under stairs) so the wood does not get to hot or too cold. The Bag will help the wood from drying out.
