Pura Cup - South Australia vs New South Wales at Adelaide Oval

In what promised to be a good game has turned into the opposite as these two teams meet at the Adelaide Oval. The game has so far been marred by poor cricket from both sides, South Australia's batting has been sub-standard and New South Wales fielding even worse, dropping a remarkable 7 catches.

If those chances hadn't of been put down, South Australia would be lucky to even get 100 in their first innings.

Shane Dietz scored 62 and Darren Lehmann 32 in what has been a poor batting display so far. The NSW bowlers have bowled well but they could have been batting a lot earlier if not for an ordinary fielding effort.

South Australia is all-out for a paltry 154 . Stuart MacGill finishes with 3/6.

A thrilling finish in the end. NSW made 288 in their first innings and SA replied in their second innings with 267. Stuart Clark had great figures of 6/39.

NSW's second innings started abysmally losing Jaques and Mail in the first over and soon after were 5/12 when Casson was caught behind for 7. And when Aaron O'Brien departed for 16, NSW were 6/46 and in massive trouble with only one recognized batsman remaining.

Enter Stuart Clark.

Clark smacked 62 off 37 balls includng 4 sixes and got NSW back in the game with some help from Domenic Thornely.

In the end, NSW got the score with 2 wickets in hand in what proved to be a very eventful game. They finished 8/135.

Stuart Clark was a worthy Man of the Match.
