Q for the Aussies into the political/ judicial scene
I have a question for you guys. Back when I lived in Miami, we had this city commissioner name Joe Gersten. Typical sleazy politician. Joe got himself into a pickle one night when his Mercedes Benz got stolen at a crack house while he was dippin his pickle into a crack ho. The real story never came out because instead of testifying to these events he fled the country and turned up in Oz. A local news station tracked him down and showed him with the black robe and those kick ass white wigs. Seems he became a "barrister". Anyways, this story has always been talked about in Miami, and from what I saw on the web, made some headlines in Australia as well. What I want to know is if this was actually something that the people talked about (like when you shoot the sh!t with your friends) in Australia, or if it was just in the legal scene.
