JAIPUR — All it seems is not well with Virender Sehwag and it doesn’t concern his form alone.

Sehwag has been named in the Indian squad for the first three one-day internationals against England but there is uncertainty about the status of his back injury.

Indian cricket board is awaiting the result of the scan conducted on Sehwag’s back and the dashing right-hander himself is suitably concerned about it.

“Though I feel a lot better, it still depends on what the scan shows up,” said Sehwag as he looked at his future with uncertainty.

The worry in the Indian camp about his fitness has only magnified since the right-hander didn’t attend the nets which took place at the Wankhede Stadium itself after England had triumphed on the final afternoon by a massive 212 runs. Sehwag has already pulled himself out from the practice game against England Eleven and Rajashtan Cricket Association (RCA) President eleven.

Sehwag lately have begun to show worrying signs on his fitness. He missed the final few one-dayers against Pakistan at the start of the year and now this injury threatens to sideline him from the squad. Sehwag had earlier terminated his contract with Leicestershire midway through the engagement because of his back pain.
