Slazenger - The Don

Has anyone else seen this bat? I'm thinking about buying one (if I can find it) but would like some more information before shelling out the cash.

It looks a beast and has most of the usual Slazenger gubbins, but I really want some feedback from someone who has at least seen one in the flesh.

Nice looking bit of wood there, not keen on the black cat in the back though.

I would guess that with a name like the Don it'd be a pretty sweet piece of willow.

I'd buy one just to hang it up, it looks awesome.

I'll look around for reviews, may ask around also, keep checking!

I like this even more than the older version, it's a shame that it's about $600 to import from Australia.

One day though :)

The back looks sexier (like yours truly) but the older sticker was more kwel.

Man, $600 is a lot, is it worth it? I mean, I'm the next don but are you?

lol, $600 for a cricket bat ? easier to go to aus for a holiday and buy one : p i like the old one more, its more old fahioned and bradman played it the early days so imo its better lol :cool

I think it's an Australian only release mate, that's why it's called the Don.

At c123, yeah, its a bit steep, may have to see what I can work out.
