Sreesanth doubtful for Bangladesh trip

A left side strain leaves Sreesanth, the India fast bowler, in doubt for the Kitply Cup in Bangladesh, which starts on June 8. Sreesanth was expected to join the team tomorrow, ahead of their departure to Bangladesh on Sunday, but has instead been told to report to the medical team at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

In the recently concluded lot's of other young bowlers showed some good talent like Yo Mahesh etc. Good for them, might be they should be given a chance to represent the country ...

Yeah, agreed. There had been some maturity/discipline problems with Sreesanth in the past as well. So maybe this is a blessing in disguise for Sreesanth that he's getting injured at this time. It gives him a time to reflect on his place in the selection pecking order, improve his game as well as toughen a bit more mentally.
