Bangladesh have no experience in the very short format of the game (Twenty20 matches). This concept is relatively new to them and I believe they have not played an international Twenty20 match to date.

To be 4/43 in the 11th over is just not good enough I'm afraid. If we take away Shaun Tait's erratic over, that leaves them at 4/28 after just a touch over 9 overs. Nowhere near good enough to compete with the best I'm afraid.

Bad news for Australia. Watson hurts himself in the runup and doesn't even think about completing the over.
He's almost in tears as he walks off the field.
He didn't need any assistance, but it looks like he just felt something bad happen to him.

Symonds to bowl the last 2 balls of the over.

Well, this is bad news for Australia and something that we didn't really need. Can't blame the guy for being upset. He has been injured quite a number of times now over the past few months. It seems the guy just can't keep fit for a prolonged period of time and his body can't cope with the strain at the moment.

This will affect the team's structure and it will be interesting to see who comes into the side to replace Watson.

Bangladesh are 4/57 in the 14th over. Saqibul Hasan is on 21 and McGrath has 3/9. He now has the most wickets taken in World Cup history. Well done Glenn. @|

He was the only Bangladeshi who was scoring today.
Habibul needs to start hitting boundaries now, with less than 6 overs to go.

That shouldn't be a challenging total for the Australians.
The only question is if Hussey will come in and bat early.

104 is very reachable, with one or two partnerships,but if this cup has taught us anything (and it probably hasn't) it's to expect the unexpected.

Piece of cake for Gilchrist and Hayden in the end.


If Gilchrist can get going in this tournament, along with their other in form players, Australia is going to be nearly impossible to beat.
