Both teams trying to salvage some pride. Especially the home team.

Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat first.
That appears to be vital, as West Indies have fallen to 8-2 after 4 overs,
with Gayle and Devon Smith, the 2 openers, already out.

West Indies are going to have a tough time reaching 200 today.
The Bangladeshi spinners will keep the pressure on all the way through.

Chanderpaul and Sarwan finally starting to score some runs here.

With so many wickets in hand, I expect a lot of runs from the last 14 overs.

Sarwan played a decent knock to get to 91...and remained not out...

Lara tried to up the ante but got out for 32...

Shiv tried to rebuild.....slowly...

And what has become typical for this tournament... opening batsmen failed.

If Bangladesh play sensibly they could reach this target . If the Windies put up a determined performance and not a lackadaisical, dispirited one Bangla could be in trouble.

this one is over, looks like the West Indies will finally pick up a win today

Glad to see the West Indies pick up a win. It would have been embarrassing for them if Bangladesh had won.
