Tri-Series Match 3: Bangladesh v Canada

Both teams beat Bermuda, so this match will determine the winner of the tri-series.

Bangladesh batting first.

Shariar Nafees and Aftab were both out for a duck early on, but Saqibul has led the fightback for Bangladesh. They're 207-4 after 42. Saqibul is up to 103.

Ashraful caught on the final delivery of the innings.

Bangladesh 278-5 after 50.
Saqibul finishes 134 not out. Ashraful was out on 60. Thanks to that last swing, Cummins finished with 3 wickets.

This target is going to be a bit too much for Canada to chase down.

Bagai seems to be having less success in the Caribbean than he did in Africa. Too bad.

Anyway, this is a chance for the "killer Bs" of Billcliff and Barnett to show what they can do. Did the radio guys mention what happened to Samad?

I turned the radio back on in the 3rd over, so I missed it.
I'm guessing he was nailed by Shahadat.


Barnett sounds decent so far.
He hit a 6 a few overs ago.

And he just hit a 4 off of a no ball right now.
They've still got a loooooong ways to go to make a match of this though.

Well, I think we officially have a contest. Barnett and Billcliff are going great guns, on 46 and 44 respectively. After the 20 overs, Canada are 101/1 ....it'll be interesting to see if they can keep it up.

We definitely have a match here.

Billcliff just hit a single, and now he has a half century too.
They're not even halfway to the target yet, but Canada have to feel very good about how things have gone so far.

Canada are continuing to go very well! 157/1 after 30 overs, Barnett and Billcliff both through 50 and dreaming of 100. They need 122 more runs from 20 overs (RRR JUST over 6) and have plenty of wickets in hand to get there.
