I only caught it on t.v (Sky) but he was undone by one that kept low. Saying that though, he was batting a long way back in his crease and may have been better off batting a little out of it.

True but they did show that Sangakarra was batting a long way out of his crease, as was one or two of the other Sri Lanka batsman. A tough call all in all though as Sri Lanka have Murali and playing off the back foot seemed sensible in this game.

the ball kept low but not as much as he made it look. pietersen should have been more forward. when you know the pitch can keep low you have to be alert. must be disappointing to get out against a bowler like fernando.
