The Lounge 2

Shimano, sounds Japanese Terry. I dropped you a link to Aussie made e bikes. You'd rather help our economy over the Japanese one I expect. On the other hand they may be out of your price range.
I checked out Malvern Star folding e bicycles Craig but they had no folding e bikes. There were other brands but generally costly @ ~ $2k plus for a decent one. Hmmn?
The Aldi one I posted sounds cheap cheap in comparison.
Like Thomas I'd like a folding bike I could put in my car's boot, ... maybe a decent ordinary bicycle, with a basket.
That's about $1k. My current bike is rusted and ancient being handed down and down again to me. It's a "Giant" bicycle made in Taiwan decades ago. I thought it was an Aussie brand. Nah, just popular in Australia.

Malvern Star and high-end manufacturers such as Bastion and Bossi, alongside major global brands like Trek, Giant

To ensure Australias future fuel security, the QLD Christafulli Liberal government has unlocked this nations first oil field in 50 years, at the Taroom Trough in the centre of the state.

This is the sort of move Albanese should have made as soon as the petrol crisis began, in fact sometime in his last three yrs of govt as there is some 90% of Aussies that still drive gas guzzlers, reason why the PM is spending millions of taxpayer dollars to replenish our oil supply from Singapore. Additionally, there are only two of our own refiners still operating, Ampol with its plant in Brisbane and a Viva Energy plant in Melbourne. Between them, they supply only a fraction of our daily fuel consumption.

Jackie O complained about Kyle Sandilands months before on-air fight, court documents allege.

Am tired to distraction seeing these two over paid disc jockeys in the headlines.

Same here with high prices for Diesel Thomas.
I recently paid $2.60 a litre for 98 Octane fuel ⛽️ on a cheap Tuesday which was tolerable.
Thankfully I don't drive a lot but even still ride my motorbike to keep petrol costs down. It takes 95 Octane fuel and I get about 2L/100 km. My Corolla uses ~ 8L/100km. 4 times the bike's consumption.
There's lots of big Ute's and 4WD's in Perth that are very thirsty for Diesel, many owned by Trades people who may well pass on the petrol costs to Clients. Same for food prices going up. Some say we're headed towards Stagflation.
Many are looking towards TV'S and E bikes.
I saw this Ad today.

It's foldable too able to be put in a Car's boot and ok to take on trains or buses.

Are you saying you fill up your Corolla with 98 Octane fuel i.e. Premium 98 High Performance fuel? That would be two classes above E10 petrol that I've been using since 2011 and which your car should also be compatible with.

As for the foldable E-bike, weight often is an issue. That one looks rather heavy and I doubt if one can really put it in a boot, let alone two of them. How much does it weigh?

No response mate?
You're giving me some food for thought. I'm open to that. Google's a pain anyway. Guess you use Bing then? Whenever I saw my IP disclosed it never was my location but some spot in the vicinity about 15 km away.
I need to disclose my location for many apps and activities anyway. What would I gain from using Bing? I also use Duckduckgo, btw.

For me too it was a district about 15km from me on other wide of the river, next in my district of Menai which covers five suburbs then the closest suburb to me and latest my own suburb. It was like being tracked by an intelligence organization. That was when I immediately switched to Firefox and Bing. Am also looking at an email server alternative. I want zero more to do with Google even if it means missing out on certain apps.

Duckduckgo eh. Will check it out mate. Do they have their own search engine?

Yes, I put 98 Octane into my Corolla to help keep the engine clean, more power, more range and given I don't drive at lot the extra cost is not onerous.

I put 95 Octane in my motorbike as recommended.

What that e bike might weigh?
I found that common commuter e-bikes usually average around 22–27 kg.
