i wouldnt be worried about the young blokes in the centrals side, have got the job done 12 times this year and im pretty sure a 17 year old kid got centrals over the line against them in round 1 when the so called 'pressure' was on
definitely something in the water down at bruce comben reserve after christmas. rumour has it they are confident of winning the rest of their games this season, has the club ever won 5 games in a season before?
A1
Laverton to beat Moonee Valley in a close one. Lavo's batting line up is too strong when compared to MV's. MV rely heavily on Milne to get the bulk of their runs
East Keilor to beat ST.A's in the other semi. Perfect time for another ST.A's choke in March. East Keilor hitting their straps at...
Just a quick mention on that North A2 game, both sides look to be in ripping form and must have the top 2 shaking in their boots... Good to see Werribee Centrals have a team up and firing at the right time of the year considering the year they have had in their first XI. May almost be a GF preview?
Can't have been too good of deck, looking at the results from the weekends game 30 wickets were lost in around 130 overs... is anyone on here who has played there recently or played in that game?
my tips for this week would be
laverton (swallow to make a big score)
taylors lakes
werribee centrals (with edrich back id assume)
aberfeldie
east keilor
final four going by these results
laverton
st albans
taylors lakes
then you could raffle 4th spot between aberfeldie aberfeldie park east keilor
have heard that the pitches at both the aberfeldie and aberfeldie park grounds were well and truly under prepared, so much so that players from aberfeldie apologised to the laverton boys after the game
i wouldnt be looking at flemington at all! apart from their one good bat, they lack a lot for this grade. Remembering they did get beat by Werribee Centrals who haven't looked like it all season. Flemington, centrals and moonee valley will fight it out for the wooden spoon one would think
having faced the both of them over the past few years, edrich is a class bowler and i still believe he is the best bowler in the competition by a fair way! clutton is quick but can be expensive at time, dont get me wrong the bloke can bowl but if i had to choose i think id have to take edrich
