I don’t think this is the answer. He needs to keep an openers mentality, but he needs to just get more experience in the shield against bowlers like Boland that WILL expose his weakness past his inside edge.

Genuinely could be as simple as making a decent batting track so our batsmen can get some confidence. Even though they’ve been pretty bad they’ve batted on some pretty bowler friendly pitches.
