Starc beat the inside edge on I think every ball that over, just needs to hit the stumps

Only just starting watching the last 30 minutes, 60 overs in and it’s still hopping around corners. Makes Smith and Green’s innings very impressive.

Still winter T20s. Mostly been focusing on batting but bowl an over here or there. I find it hard to bowl spin in a lot of the games because the ball gets wet and slippery. Game 2 weeks ago I bowled the last over of the innings against a very good batsman that plays for my summer club. I only...

Yeah Smith just looked completely class. Green was very gritty, left well and put away the cover drive for a bit after it almost got him in trouble. He got the return for it by making a 50 and also faced the 2nd most balls of any innings this series (123) behind Khawaja in the first innings of...

Very gritty innings from Green, good to see him face a ton of balls after a pretty soft start to his tenure at 3. He looked like a number 3 bat last night.

So I don’t know if I said it on here but my club has been providing some coaching sessions for colts players in the off season. Apart from immediate technical changes that immensely helped me, my main hurdle has been over-balancing when playing down the ground. I’ve been doing exercises like...

I don’t think this is the answer. He needs to keep an openers mentality, but he needs to just get more experience in the shield against bowlers like Boland that WILL expose his weakness past his inside edge. Also think a county experience will be great for him.

More than enough I think. Konstas and especially Green both looked better despite mediocre returns. More confident.

Genuinely could be as simple as making a decent batting track so our batsmen can get some confidence. Even though they’ve been pretty bad they’ve batted on some pretty bowler friendly pitches.

Everyone is batting like they’ve been told to play a certain way that is nothing like how they usually play, and they suck at it. Could have something to do with playing a No. 4 at 3 and a No. 7 at 4.
