I'm hearing that the people involved in the USAT20 League has hit legal issues and it may be dead as of right now... which utterly and absolutely sucks if it's true.. I'll try to find the article... but it was a couple of days ago...

That's funny... I did the exact same things when I first was placed in a "live" drill... dropped the bat, ran towards first, and had a hard time in the beginning working away from a baseball swing towards a cricket swing

And why not throw in the batting Strokes too lol

With regards to a curve ball... there are so many ways to make a baseball create movement... a typical Curveball you would grip the ball with two fingers (Pointer and middle finger) running along with a seam... and the thumb on the opposite seam on the other side of the ball... a typical...

I haven't I haven't really sat with him and asked his full background in the sport, as I am quite busy picking his mind for as many tips and help I can get LOL... I know he's from Jamaica, and has played quite awhile... he seems to have a solid grasp of what he wants us to accomplish, and...

So Far its going really well... I'm catching on quite quickly to the different batting style, and the judging of whether or not a run should be attempted is not unlike judging whether a baserunner should attempt taking another base in baseball... watching for fumbled balls is a skill that is...

I tried to commit as much from your guys' tips to memory as possible for tonights practice, as it was a running, and hitting practice, and well... old habits die hard LOL.. first hit I delivered I took off for 1st base instead of straight ahead hahaha... 25 years is hard to break...
