Re: mmvca cheers thanks for that , not sure if clubs could roll there own wickets but maybe the comp should have stricker rules ,if clubs want to play turf cricket you must reach these comittment standards as do VTCA , nothing against the comp bit if were playing turf we must be able to compair...

Re: mmvca I have playing in this comp for a while now and since covers have been used im pretty sure we have more wash outs , obviously we cant remember the weather from the past but at the moment covering the covers one night a week isnt good enough either use them properly or not at all...

Re: mmvca yer id say thats its too , im pretty sure this came up years ago , but by now you would have thought the council would have became more professional and took preparing wickets more seriously.

Re: mmvca that is a great idea it wouldnt take council workers much to fold the covers back if they have to be prepared fri. but if the pitches are already soaked most times its best to be uncovered to dry out on windy days ilke fri , and if it keeps raining then stiff shit.

Re: mmvca Summerfeild yer na , but as i said a while ago this comp and the tracks we play on make shit players look good and good players look very average, so if your mental side of your game isnt right then youll fail most times.

Re: mmvca i think you all are forgetting about W. Andrews easyerly in the top 3.Na top 5 Ward 1 by a mile, Whernham 2, Black 3, Newton 4, 5 not sure if there is one,Appleyard bowls quickish but to nice a guy to many half volleys. who is Costello ,were is he from.
