I assume you have not checked the ladder before this post with East sides occupying 3 of the top 4 spots though I do acknowledge Malvern could sneak in to Top 6. Last round clash v Caulfield will be interesting.
agree with the interesting round comment. Maybe not your selections.
Oaks to win easy. Bowling the house down at the moment.
E'Wick need to win this one, having to play Caulfield in last round. Kingston lose their 2 PNG after this game so must win as well. Going with Kingston at home in upset...
Potentially some one sided games in the "half" of the comp that is "friendly and incident free". Agree with Super Saint on all counts.
Oak V End Hills - Oakleigh easy. Pinwill over his injury and 2nd place locked down
Elst v Mt Wav - key match of the round. You'd think if Ormond can beat Mt Wav...
Interesting scores in SE group. Minor hiccups from the top 2 teams would lift the spirits of the other finals contenders. To tip 7 from 7 again halfway thru a game:-
Malvern to get the 80 runs left with a few wickets in hand to open up the fight for 2nd
Elsternwick easy - though not sure I see...
making selections halfway through a game much easier:-
only chance of Bayswater avoiding outright is if Oakleigh convene Christmas early
too many runs for Elsternwick against the Box Hill attack
Brighton easy. Ormond wont be able to defend that.
Croydon to win with Whittock to get them home...
Re: Subbies season 09/10
Farrow retired along with Fortington. Goldsmith in Japan. A Blake injured and out for season and possibly longer. Box Hill have 2 15 yr olds batting 5 and 6. No longer in contention!
