also to add to the above comments, the outfield was not an issue at all it was just the pitch and the wetness of it, the outfield drained very well and the ball was all but dry throughout the 2nd innings

What happened was that we had the chance to come off with 20 overs to play on week one as both myself and B. Biggs had concerns over our fast bowlers slipping after the rain hit so we played it safe and called day 1 quits then and avoid any injuries. Week 2 came but the sun stayed away...

Maybe the tribunal and the clubs need to get together and organise a set punishment system like the AFL, this would surely make sure that the worse offences get a worse punishment. It would also help eliminate an unfair event off not following precedent.
