Craig - Sounds like Stead has changed his mind concerning Boult in the 2nd Test... going by that article he wants to play him because we drew the 1st Test, what absolute nonsense, these tests are basically preparation for the big final, the reality is Boult always needed to at least play in one...
Precisely Craig - you're going to be a better player if you consistently play in a positive manner... yeah, the Test went pretty quickly, losing a day through rain wasn't great.
Mate, 2nd Test is on Thursday, Edgbaston, starts at the same time again, 8pm {AusT}
:thumbsu:
Even though they lack that bit of experience in the middle order they still should've had a go - if they had lost a few early wickets then they could've batted for the draw... yeah, Sibley is a pretty dogged batsman.
Morning Craig - your team would've definitely had a crack in the same situation... just shows you the difference between Australasian & British attacking mindset, not just in cricket but in all the other sports too.
That's strange you lost a post mate.
Couldn't believe it mate when we declared giving them a great chance to chase down 273 off 75 overs... unbelievably they didn't even try to have a crack it ?

You can see we are trying to get the runs quickly, but they're going about it the wrong way - want to see good solid batting in the first session, then in the next session we can have a really good crack with plenty of wickets in hand... the way we're batting we're only giving them a chance to...
What ************** dumb batting by Wagner very early in the session - he tried to smash the ball 3 times in a row, the 3rd time hit it straight up in the air for an easy catch... we needed good common sense batting in the first two hours.
Other than 2 or 3 in our team it's a pretty bloody average performance by us Craig... Williamson only averages 30 in England conditions.

That's impressive Thomas that you were able to walk on your hands, need great balance & strength to do that, sounds like you could've been very good at gymnastics.
Yeah, we didn't have any health clubs back in the 60' & 70's either... had one of those expanders as well, think they had 4 metal...
