There wasn't much I will agree but there seemed to be a bit more sideways movement when NZ bowled. Obviously, more in the first SL innings. But having said that...I can't recall one wicket falling due to seam movement lol. It has all been the extra bounce and pace that has gotten players out...

Sometimes I think the Test side would be better without McCullum in it..

Some crazy cricket! SL's openers batted brilliantly but the rest of them batted like it is a T20 match! Brainless, a lot of it...

Williamson was bad, Guptill was dreadful! Some good bowling and fielding plans but some extremely poor batting too!

All the sideways movement seems to have gone now that the SL's are bowling.. NZ 61 for no loss at lunch.

Very green pitch and quite a bit of seam movement and bounce, so Sri Lanka did well to score what they did. Having said that, the pitch is drying out and will likely get better for batting today and tomorrow.

He supposedly fixed his action by going back to how he used to bowl in club cricket..

That was a result of 5/6 overs of fast n' aggressive short bowling from Wagner. Matthews became so used to the short ball that the full ball came as a complete surprise... That and SL weren't scoring any runs due to Santner giving nothing to the batsmen at the other end..

Great win! Gee, that spell from Wagner must be right up there in his career! Bowling 137-140km bouncers for 8 overs straight is going to be uncomfortable for most batsmen in world cricket...
