Can't see Tallangatta getting over North and surely Ladey is due to fail with the bat.....what a season he has had, but North are just full of game winners batting wise.....and they are playing on the Bunton Hwy.
Lavi, even after loosing Bally are still a strong side and should win easily over...
North are Carrying Castello and Barton???? Really???? How many other clubs would like to see those two old farts in their side???? There are guys that play well during the season....and then there are guys that win you premiorships!!!
I don't think that there would have been too many guys from Wodonga that would have been upset to see last week washed out. To be facing fresh bowlers on an underprepared wicket (due to the rain) with only 4 wickets in hand chasing even 47 would have been a pretty hard task.....and I can see how...
Only Lavi have lights good enough to host a night game and the Masters game at Bunton started at 530pm for that exact reason. Working out 1 v 2 is not really hard, Tallangatta and St Pats have the highest points of the four pools in A's and Albury and North do in the B's.....there is the two...
If the games are played mid week they would need to start at 5pm, maybe 530pm at the latest.....the light is getting poor by 8-830pm, so there is no way you could start any later.....maybe the CAW will cut their loses and just play the final 1v2 on the same arvo at two grounds....who knows...
The rain could play a pretty big role in where teams finish this year. In the A Prov New City would be hoping like hell to play because they are a good chance of defending 121 against Wodonga.....if the game is washed out that will likely ensure that they are relegated, with them playing North...
not to mention the 20/20 Semi Finals and Finals this Sunday.....pretty sure with the draw the way it is, this Sunday was the only one free until after the GF weekend, and then the footy takes over the grounds. Good luck sorting that one out if it is in fact washed out.
The problem is Ritchie is that there is no solution that will make everyone happy.....not even sure if teams in District A's are fighting to get into Prov to have a crack, or simply going through the motions of 'well its only for 12 months and then we will be back'. It's certainly no fun going...
I am not to sure how this can be enforced, not to mention it is totally unfair on those that have legitimate reasons for wanting to stay in one particular competition.....although I do understand the reasoning behind the suggestion.

Not too sure about that, New City are behind Albury on points and have to play Wodonga and Nth Albury. Albury have St Pats and last game against Dederang. You would expect New City to lose both games and Albury to beat Dederang resulting in Albury dodging a bullet.....and a big well done to...

You may want to do a bit research before coming out and incorrectly gobbing off about a club that is mearly sucessful. In the last three season North has lost more games at home than they have away.....and yes they were rolled for 140 odd against Belvoir, but then were good enough to roll them...
He has scored 2 50's in the last three seasons batting high up the order......may be North are looking at boosting their C grade side because there is not a hope in hell he will even go close to breaking into their A grade batting line up.
The crowd was pretty disappointing for the 20/20 last night, not too sure it was advertised correctly to attract the public. Feel sorry for Lavi at the moment having to put up with that outfield, its shocking.....the wicket looked liked it played very slow and low as well, which made scoring...

Surely the "look after my mates" selection policy didn't apply, I am sure all the guys got into the sides based on pure current form and ability!!!!!
I wouldn't have thought it would be a surprise who attracted the top dollars.......lets be honest to get 4 teams up and running, there are going to be some bargan basement deals, there aren't that may guns out there. You may find though that the teams will be picked on names and personality...

so what is the final damage at Lavi, or is it all a beat up.....is half their side gone to the power house teams that don't need them or not.....egos or not, take the guns out of any side and it will take a long time to back fill.
