Most over-rated bowler in the world.....

Re: Most over-rated bowled in the world..... Eddie was saying Harris was over-rated because he has cashed in on weaker line ups in New Zealand and the West Indies, whereas Siddle got his wickets against the SAffers. Which could be perceived as over-rating Harris's ability with the ball. -...

Most over-rated bowler in the world.....

Re: Most over-rated bowled in the world..... I agree CJ, I do however get annoyed when people put Lee in the same class as the McGraths and Lillee's. Which then leads to him being over-rated.

Most over-rated bowler in the world.....

Re: Most over-rated bowled in the world..... I may in fact once again miss the point, but once again you bash away at the keyboard and come up with piles of words which don't make sense. For example: ‘The point is not in what the example actually is, but what it points to.’ - it points...

Most over-rated bowler in the world.....

Re: Most over-rated bowled in the world..... So, Brett Lee & Stuart Clark > Siddle, Hilfenhous, Johnson, Harris & McKay 'simply because of time and experience'. I know it is off-topic but that comment is astounding. Even from a Lee brown-noser like yourself bore-is.

Most over-rated bowler in the world.....

Re: Most over-rated bowled in the world..... Did you happen to hear the Kiwi commentators when the Aussies were over there? They thought he was the best thing since Lance Cairns. But Yuvraj hit 36 off an over once...... oh wait...

Most over-rated bowler in the world.....

Re: Most over-rated bowled in the world..... I rate Anderson, I saw him knock out Flynn's front teeth and then pepper Oram with short balls all afternoon at Old Trafford a few years back. Most over rated bowlers for mine would be either Stuart Broad, Brett Lee or Chris Martin. Side note...

    Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010 What is your sig going to be when the Bushrangers win? I like this one: "Victoria - the greatest state in the country" or "Andy MacDonald > James Hopes"

    Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010 No chance. Queensland won't be leading after 1st Innings. They also won't win the match. I will change my signature for a month to : "James Hopes is by far the best all-rounder Australia has seen since Keith Miller"" What are you prepared to...

Your thoughts on Australia.. with a view to the Ashes and the World Cup

Re: Your thoughts on Australia.. with a view to the Ashes and the World Cup Out of our last 20 or so we have won roughly 80%, pretty good performance I would have thought. Fair enough some teams have been average but we can only beat who we play. The way the Aussies targeted Gayle and...

    Australia in New Zealand

Re: Australia in New Zealand If Brad Hodge wasn't so disliked in the dressing room then he would've played a lot more for Australia. Agreed upon by almost all cricket followers. He is 10 days younger than Ricky Ponting. Fact. He has only played 25 ODI's for his Country when he has been...

    Australia in New Zealand

Re: Australia in New Zealand 0, 3, 3, 17, DNB, 20, 16. Terrible, agreed. But, I bet you can't honestly say that Adam Voges is a better cricketer than Brad Hodge. FRC 09/10 622 @ 69 *inc 4 centuries. It is not as if he isn't in form. FWIW I would have Bailey in before Voges also.

Tait giving the 'bird' to McCullum after bowling out Ingham

Re: Tait giving the 'bird' to McCullum after bowling out Ingham I don't think it bothered McCullum much, his paddle sweeps were amazing!

    Moises Henriques

Re: Moises Henriques Stray should've played against Queensland instead of Lloyd Mash in the recent 4 dayer! However selection for the Australian T20 squad would be ludicrous.

    Moises Henriques

Re: Moises Henriques Just got dropped for the upcoming shield game. If he is in the best 30 players in Australia T20 wise at the moment then I will eat my hat. What a joke! If they want a young gun who can actually play: Aaron Finch - get him in there.

    Geelong Cricket Chat 09/10

Re: Geelong Cricket Chat 09/10 Well batted Hally! Back-to-back is a huge effort which doesn't happen very often. North still have to win this game first to get into the finals. So don't get to carried away there crktluva ;) 320 at South Barwon is gettable, especially with South's...

    Australia in New Zealand

Re: Australia in New Zealand Agree with you there LtD, Warner might hang around in NZ when the T20 specialists go home. I would personally love to see Hodge over there but we all know that won't happen :(
