Re: Sourav Ganguly Announces his Retirement It is the right decision. The selectors have been messing around a lot with him so its better that he has decided to go out on his terms rather than being dropped. Sad news though. I enjoyed watching him bat.

Re: ICC allows batting team to choose one powerplay The bowling captain's are always keen to get the powerplay out of their way rather than utilize them creatively. This should be interesting. However, this is going to tilt the scales in favour of batsmen even more.

Re: Australia in India Australians aren't doing too well. Can't read much into the practice game though. It's just to help them acclimatise to the conditions. Better to fail in a practice game than in the games that matter.
