Can someone please explain who in their right mind calls off cricket on hard wickets two days before the game? One of the worst decisions ever made considerer its Friday morning fine and not a cloud in the sky.....that person/s better hopes it buckets down...

Yes you are right Wanie North did only use a few bastman both days....but at least the two teams they played against all had a bat.....so I wonder what team enjoyed the game the most!

No that is a fair call, and don't get me wrong my club had a player or two that should not have been playing 3rds and even played a couple of 1st graders that could not commit to both weeks of 1st grade once or twice.

I think the point that was trying to be made was that there are a couple of players in a few of the C grade teams that are simply far too good to be playing thirds and are playing thirds by choice rather than selection.

I know the topics are all about the higher grades....but I was just wondering what peoples thoughts are in regards to the 3rd grade comp.
Firstly, it is an absolute joke to have a competition where you dont play against at least five teams in the home...
