I was referring to the shambles weapons plays in. If that's not the case I stand corrected. The rest of my post stands. If your happy to go round and round in a tiny little fish bowl devouring the same little fish year after year , good luck to you.
Why would they take a backward step when they have the chance to join a comp with a vision and a future ?
Think you will find both will be playing in a newly created Western Division of the VTCA, maybe some others should also consider it, or do they enjoy playing on grass one week and plastic...
Just had a look at the response on the VTCA website of Clubs opting to wear coloured clothing on the pink weekend.
Not to may replies. Word on the vine is that some may have out smarted themselves by staying in white and may cop the pink agates as a result
You mean someone at Brighton actually got some covers down and was prepared to do some work on the wicket.
FYI - Premier is off, Subbies are off, ECA is off, DDCA is off, WDCA is off, MMVCA is off, not sure where you expected turf wickets to be ready today.
See you've had a fair crack at poor...
Better still, let's give all these soft cocks who don't like a little bit of mud on their boots or would rather be at the races zero points for a draw. at least those who lost had a crack.
You'll have to help me out with your rational here Cash Man:
With Round 1 washed out the VTCA rescheduled Round 1 to a 1day game on the reserve day, leaving Round 2 to be played as a 2 day game. - No games lost. - if this weekend is washed out 1 dayer will be played next week - No games lost...
re: South Division 10/11
Obviously your head is still up your clacker.
It has been a long established and accepted principle that 1st XI Grand Finals are played at neutral venues.
Where the hell have you been for the last half a dozen years ?
re: South Division 10/11
Fair dinkcum mate, the rule has been in place for at least 8 or 9 years.
How long have you had your head up your clacker for ?
re: South Division 10/11
Reckon that underarm of yours needs a good case of deoderant mate.
It's not the VTCA that doesn't want 1 day cricket, it's the Clubs.
My Club was one which applied on the affiliation form to enter the Saturday One Day Comp, only to be contacted by the VTCA to say it...
Re: North A & B
At least with the Points System they have to stop somewhere with a cap set, and it appears to be transparent. Under the old system there was no control, with Clubs and players even prepared to perjure themselves by signing false affidavits to get around the rules.

Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat
Fair go Mate - you obviously are not well connected to a Club, or you simply don't know the Rules.
The 2 up 2 down Rule was voted in By the Clubs prior to the start of last Season and is in the Rule Book
Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat
Your're got to be kiddin.
Maribynong Park is a team of mercineries bankrolled by one bloke and used as his plaything. They struggle to field a second eighteen who can't win a game and last week not for the first time forfeited their under 18's.
If Abers go...
Re: North A & B
If what you are saying is correct and Dunn was to play, that would only leave them with 7 points for 5 players, they do have some juniors but it would be tight.
