re: South Division 10/11
have to agree about Kwaja chucking it, ripping batsmen and bloke but he just throws them down. Umpires are scared to call someone a chucker, look what happened to Daryl Harper and the other Aussie umpire that called Murali.
On other matters, has anyone ever had J...
re: Senior Division 10/11
Under what basis? If the moderator had a problem I am sure he would have already banned Kev, who unlike the majority of posters doesn't hide behind an alias. Whilst the slanging match between Kev and the aforementioned former HCC player does no-one any good, is it...
re: South Division 10/11
Don't know about his committment but he played for Prahran 1's and 2's for quite a few years, injury crueled him in his time there. Was a good bowler and big hitter. Would be at least 2-3 years older than Ian. Would be a more than handy pick-up.
re: Senior Division 10/11
Great post, we have several Under 16's who the likes of Yallop and Ayres have got into the ears of them and their parents who are off to try their hand for higher honours next season. After going to a district club at 16, I would say they should play a couple of...
re: South Division 10/11
Daykin has a sore back and was only going to bat if needed, chasing 111 and Khawaja smashing 36 in 8 overs, he wasn't needed. Did it easily without their skipper Reece Jones and Suttcliffe with two Pakistani blokes who couldn't bat but we could get them out. Big...
Re: South A and B 09/10
Or at the very least with the changes to 7 one dayers and 7 2 dayers for some divisions, the dates for the rounds would help with planning social functions. Unless you are in senior division it doesn't matter who or where you are playing; as much anyway. Happy for the...
Re: possible changes for 2009/10 season
That's shame, at least on one of his accounts he was entertaining. Rubble and his dim sim eating was also quite funny.
Any thoughts on the proposed one day rule changes? Bowling restrictions - 8 overs and fielding restrictions? Our clubs feels that...
Re: possible changes for 2009/10 season
Stinkyplayer - you have baited the hook and I can't resist taking a bite. My club is one the "sooks" as you refer to us who can't affor $107K to go and and buy a side that wins a premiership and then finishes runner-up to a club backed by a pokies venue...
Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat
Sounds like the Airport West selection policy, except they pick 9 paid players and bat 2 kids at 10 and 11 just to field.
Re: payments
Hampton would have 1 point for J Ferguson and 3 for M Iles. I think this is a great idea but can't see it getting past the northern clubs.
