Re: North A & B
You are a legend in your own lifetime...or should that be "in your own head".
Everywhere I look on BigCricket you are making uneducated and uninformed comments about other Comps. Seriously, take the advice given to you by many different people in many different comps...

Re: North A & B
Not just Tulla. Obviously a problem with teams in that division/tier.....
Gr$$nvale would have cost plenty this year as would Port Melbourne. Neither did enough to earn the right to promotion.
Throwing cash at "guns for hire" does not work. North and South A are a very...

Re: VTCA Cricket - General Chat
Can someone please help me.....
I have been looking through the squad lists for the IPL just started....for some reason I cant find any of the superstars from Maccabi (Onas, Gelbert and Mutton). Did any of them actually get a game as suggested by some of the...
Re: North A & B
For that sort of money you expect a player to both bat and bowl. With a top score of 30 for the season and an average of 8.9 with the bat this is surely a 'no-brainer' at this expected price. If the guy averaged 25 with the bat then he could be considered.
Granted 51 wkt...

Re: North West Cricket Association
I must have missed the press release where the ICC announced that all test cricket will now be played on plastic. Obviously synthetic is where the real cricket is played, only a matter of time before district clubs start ripping up the turf....

Re: Western Suburbs Churches Cricket Association
I think that you need to get out and watch a little bit more of the available local cricket.
I dont agree with your standards comparrison but that said everyone is entitled to opinion. The test this year will be how any new clubs entering the...

Re: North A & B
"...I have heard..." is a convenient way of saying 'I think..' !!
Do the maths. If Snr A remains there will be a 5 North / 7 South split for the forthcoming season (Doutta, Hoppers, Sun D, Strathmore, Keilor Park). If you "have heard" that it will be a 12 team...

Maybe some of these sides are stagnant and need a fresh challenge.
Take Newport Digman for example. Given the ground, facilities, investment in players and quality cricketers/people that they have down there, they really should...

Re: Western Suburbs Churches Cricket Association
The great thing about the VTCA is that with a 4-tier divisional system clubs will eventually find their level based on ability. All sides to date have entered at North B level so this will give both clubs a fair indicator as to where they fit...
