Final 6 in North /South pretty much decided now . PV, Caulfield and Oakleigh all a chance and the rest making up numbers. My tip would be Oakleigh particularly if Herrick does qualify.

Subbies is just getting stronger. Huge influx of quality players. Used to think was at a level below Premier 2's but think most clubs would beat Premier 2's now. Know a lot of players playing Premier 2's and they would not be guaranteed Subbies 1's spots. Agree that Elsternwick are a good bet.

Would not want to lose the toss and bat at the Beach Oval. Rushy has strong support this year

South Caulfield should do well because in the proposed cricket Victoria model they are not in the top division.

Great post. Presumably Warren has reverted to amateur status to allow his great mate and the new Captain to play as the 2 professionals. Does not really matter as it makes the competition stronger. Good point about Junior development. Some clubs have minimal interest.

Playing cricket in UK and doing some travelling.

Played at Brighton from age of 9. Made his senior debut before going to Premier cricket. Fantastic to have him back and with Rushworth and the others will make BCC more competitive next season.

Great finish to the season by Brighton. 5/6 after Christmas. Does not make up for terrible start to season. 2's have beaten 1 & 3 since Christmas and playing finals. Rushworth has re committed and other recruits in the wind. Certainly looking for continued improvement next season. Think Oakleigh...

Bit easier in VTCA than North South in 2016/17

Not too worried. 4 wins last weekend. Craig team top of group again and 8th finals in a row. Our feeder comp SECA has 9/9 teams make semi finals with lots of our juniors playing. Celebrating our 173rd year.

Reckon Best of South would have other groups covered this year. Schittler Damiano [wk] Harrison Clements Wild Allen.M Jones [c] White Rushworth Evans Fernando 3 pronged county attack. Premier standard bats all in form and 2 class spinners.
