SW looked very competitive. But after 3 rounds think Sunshine,Melton, Williamstown, Hoppers, Brighton, Elsternwick and Moorrabin will not play finals. Down to 7 teams.
A bit of praise for Clements and Weiss. Facing first class bowlers the only 2 to score more than 13 with 16 players in single figures. On a new wicket it was a great effort by these 2 when the rest really struggled.
Would certainly have Malvern in top 6. White, Alford and Bhatt backed by Gill, Jones , Robinson and Arborn is great depth. Jones and White are guns and have handy depth with proven performance at this level. WOuld think from South that Oakleigh, Malvern and Ormond certainties and the rest all...
Great day for cricket at Malvern. Solid performance by Brighton to get 200. White took 6/40 off heaps and will be a handfull this year. Game in the balance and will depend on conditions. Ground very fast but wicket keeping low . Brighton apparently looking forward to its 2 overseas players...
Have heard here next week.
BRIGHTON V MALVERN will definitely go ahead. Playing at Malvern. Rushworth arrives next week and might want a run in the 2nds which is a 1 dayer. Probably more like
No. Arrives next week. Might have to have a trundle in the seconds one dayer. Though imagine he will...

Long-time leader of the MVP Rankings Chris Rushworth is officially the Most Valuable Player of the 2015 domestic season.
The Durham opening bowler finished 42 points clear of Kent’s Darren Stevens, who came second for the second season in succession. Last year’s winner, Jeetan Patel, was third...
Chris Rushworth recorded his seventh five-wicket haul of the season, so beating the county record of 80 first class wickets in a season by Ottis Gibson, reinstalled recently as England's bowling coach, a record which he had equalled the previous day, but he had limited support as Middlesex...
Big ins at Kew. Interesting to see the Thornes going to different clubs. Kew must be early favourite in NE. With Oakleigh moving to South and Endeavour Hills loosing players East is wide open. Ingram big loss for Plenty Valley and Balwyn will be pushing . Interesting to see who Brunswick picks up.
Yes things looking good. New turf practice wickets. Council looking at new pavilion . Rushworth will be sensational if he does not get an England call up. Currently leading County MVP award. At least 6 other potential 1's players and many ex players coming back. And 2's played in semi last years...
And as Paul Amy tells us Graham Manou will be a handy bloke to have around the club. I have heard that Liam Hurt as a young quick wanted a break from year round cricket but expect to see him back in the future.
Back to cricket. Interesting announcement on twitter from Brighton. Chris Rushworth as C/C. Top 5 wicket taker in current County season. Makes the coming season even more interesting.
Seems strange how the Southern corridor is neglected. Also a massive growth area with very strong cricket history. Have lost teams over years such as Dandenong, Frankston, Monash and now Kingston. Leaves Brighton and Moorabbin as Southern most clubs with massive population spreading down the...
Note in the article in Wyndham leader that Hoppers Crossing have no new recruits but all players from last season are " contracted". What does this mean ? VTCA has different eligibility regulations.
