Dorey and Webster aren't bad pick ups though.

Apologies McRae hasn't gone anyway still playing at Yarraville. Hewett and Yates have left however.

Yarraville will need him with Yates, McRae and Hewet all gone. Still a very dangerous player.

Agreed whats the point of hiding it? I'm sure every Club is a few weeks into training now so don't see the point in keeping things quiet.

Kew have been very proactive in the off-season. Gilmour will be a jet!

Very interesting. Melton to miss the 6, would have them top 3 myself. Can't see Yarraville having a particularly strong year with 3 of their 4 best players gone from last year and no new recruits as I am aware. Be pretty confident that with a fully fit Inness (which we have never had besides...

Mail is correct we were hopeful of securing Dorey through Inness but he is living with Ryan Webster so Caulfield were always favourite to get him. About 6 games is what i'm aware of as he is a month on month off with work. Cat bat too so will be very handy at this level.

James Gillard returns to Williamstown after 8 seasons at Melbourne. Only 24 years of age. Very handy pick up for our club, will replace Sandars as an opening bat.

Melton have made three signings of late with David Kirk returning as well as adding a former Zimbabwe international and Premier spinner from St Kilda and Essendon Steve Buhagiar.

Interesting way of looking at it! I reckon the North/West side will be pretty strong this upcoming season with Plenty Valley and Werribee powerhouse clubs along with Kew and Balwyn recruiting very well and personally cannot see Melton being down for two seasons in a row, they get the best player...
